Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Procurement Process Analyst to support a leading higher education institution in understanding and documenting their existing procurement operations. This short-term engagement focuses on capturing the end-to-end "as-is" process for the Facilities Department, with a particular emphasis on requisition-to-payable workflows, contracts management, inventory management, and work order management.

Key Responsibilities:

* Engage with business stakeholders and department leads to understand current procurement processes

* Conduct interviews, workshops, and process walkthroughs to gather accurate and complete information

* Document the “as-is” process in a structured and detailed format (e.g., process maps, narratives, SOPs)

* Identify systems and tools used in procurement, contract handling, inventory, and work orders

* Ensure all documentation reflects current operational realities and is easily understandable for technical and non-technical audiences

* Work closely with cross-functional teams to validate and finalize process documentation

Requirements:

* Proven experience in business analysis or process documentation, preferably in procurement or supply chain domains

* Strong knowledge of procurement lifecycle, including requisition, purchasing, invoicing, and payment

* Experience with contract management, inventory management, and work order tracking processes

* Excellent documentation and communication skills

* Ability to work independently and remotely, managing time effectively

* Experience in higher education or public sector (preferred but not mandatory)

Additional Information:

* This is a remote role

* Any travel required for stakeholder meetings or workshops will be fully covered by the client
